HOLIDAY HOME PARK:

General 

• The most reliable mobile telephone networks in the area are O2, Orange and Vodaphone
• Assistance dogs are welcome
• Tourist Information is available in reception. If you are unable to access this facility please speak to the proprietors, Paul or Kate, who will be happy to help
• Access to Tŷ Mawr Holiday Home Park is by car only (there is no public transport). For details on wheelchair accessible taxi service please ask

Reception

• The reception area is on the right hand side on entering the park
• Parking is on an incline. Due to the natural terrain of the land this is unavoidable. Anyone experiencing difficulties with this should ring the proprietors to make other arrangements
• The reception area has two steps to get in
• There is seating available

• The roads around the park are tarmacked
• There are speed bumps available at intermittent periods around the site which have not been highlighted. Visually impaired people should take care
• Lighting at night is reasonable with lamps at regular intervals around the site
• Fire points are also located at regular intervals

CHALET:

Access

• The smoke detection system is audible only. If you are hearing impaired and will require assistance during your stay please discuss this with us
• Assistance dogs are welcome
• Access to the park is by car only (there is no public transport). For details on wheelchair accessible taxi services please ask
• There are knob handles on all the doors throughout the accomadation with the exception of the main door

• There are three steps to get in, the steps have an anti-slip surface
• There is a handrail on one side of the steps
• The door has a lever handle
• The door consists of a full-length frosted glass window and is at a width of 650mm

Bedrooms

• The beds are at a height of 450mm
• Storage is available at a range of heights
• There is lighting at the bedside

Bathroom

• There is a bath only available - no shower
• Both the bath and basin have twist taps
• The rim of the bath is at a height of 510mm
• There is a slide bolt to lock the door
• The floor is carpeted
• The height of the toilet seat is 430mm, there is no seat riser
• There are no grab rails anywhere
• There is good colour contrast between the bathroom suite and the surrounding walls (i.e. the room does not have an all white finish)

Lounge

• There is a range of seating available including chairs with armrests. The seating is a little low to the ground with the seat being at a height of 400mm
• There is a TV/VCR available with remote control and teletext available
• The floor is carpeted and there is an unfixed rug present
• Furniture is moveable, so may be rearranged to create more space if required

Kitchen

• There is storage available at a range of heights with floor and wall mounted cupboards
• The sink has twist taps
• There is a cordless kettle available
• The microwave is located at worktop height - not wall mounted 
• The fire extinguisher is located at a height of 1540mm
• The floor is covered with lino

Dining Room

• The dining table chairs do not have arm rests
• There is reasonable space to manoeuvre in this area
